Daily training, focus, discipline and the ability to ignore the difficulties. These were (and are) the basic points of Felipe's training routine. In a country whose government doesn't pay much attention to any sport except soccer, Felipe used to practice shooting in the garage of his house, standing at a 7-meter distance from the target, whereas the standard official distance is 10 meters. The difficulty to acquire good quality equipment in Brazil is notorious, and that too, of course, affected his practice. However, he learned to overcome all obstacles and won international fame and respect, mainly after his silver medal shooting the 10-meter air pistol in the 2016 Summer Olympics, in Rio.
